I had a phone interview early last week for a really good job in an ideal location, and I think I kind of rocked the interview. The next step is the candidates get whittled down to 3 and the organization flies the candidates out to meet board and staff. I haven’t heard anything yet, but haven’t lost hope completely as I figure they’ll probably start whittling things down after this holiday weekend, and the job listing is still posted on the company website.
However, if past experience has taught me anything, it’s to expect that the job is already gone to someone who is more predictable for the job (for some reason my varied experience tends to make me unemployable, though maybe a second Master’s degree that I’m getting will change things a bit). So there it is, I didn’t get the job.
